Preparation time: 45 minutes
1 lb of fillo dough
1 lb (500 g) of ground beef
1 finely chopped onion
1 cup (2.5 dl) of Kefir
3/4 cup (2 dl) oil
2 tbl spoons of flour
0.45 oz (13 g) baking powder
salt and pepper
In a big skillet put 2 tbl spoons of oil, ground beef and onion, and cook it on high temperature until the meat change color (about 7 minutes).
In different dish mix eggs, kefir, 3/4 cups of oil, flour and baking powder. Take 2 tbl spoond from this mix and add to the meat.
Divide fillo dough into 4 parts. Take one sheet of fillo dough and sprinkle with the egg mix. On top of the first sheet put the second sheet and repeat the process. On third sheet sprinkle 1/4 of the meat.
Wrap in roll and put it in previously oiled baking pan. Repeat the process 4 times.
Once you places the burek into the baking pan take whatever is left from egg-kefir mix and equally pour over the burek. You can also sprinkle some sesame seeds.
Bake the burek in preheated oven (390*F) for about 30 minutes, or until it gets a golden crust.
