Sherbet punch is one of those childhood party favorites of mine. A big punch bowl, chunks of sherbet, and tiny bubbles of happiness. Sherbet punch also makes a great holiday dinner drink. I used to love drinking it, now I also love serving it!

It is actually one of the easiest beverages to make. There are a few variations of the punch, all of which are equally as delicious and all are made the same way. First you have to decided which flavor your going for.

For kids parties and family fun, stick with the basic recipe which requires:
1/2 gallon rainbow sherbet
2 liters Ginger-ale

For showers and summertime picnics I recommend the Lemon-lime recipe which requires:
1/2 gallon lime sherbet
12 oz. pink lemonade frozen concentrate (add with sherbet)
2 liters Sprite or 7-Up

For early day showers or get together I recommend the Orange crush recipe which requires:
1/2 gallon orange sherbet
2 liters Ginger-ale
2 oranges, peeled and segmented.

For parties and brunches I recommend the Dressed-up recipe which requires:
1/2 gallon raspberry sherbet
2 liters Ginger-ale
2 cups frozen raspberries

For tropical themed parties or pool time fun I recommend Pineapple party punch which requires:
1/2 gallon rainbow sherbet
2 liters Sprite or 7-Up
2 cups pineapple juice (add with soda)
1 large can fruit cocktail drained and frozen

Once you have picked out your recipe, your more then half way done. I recommend making this roughly fifteen minutes before serving. In a large bowl or pitcher scoop sherbet.

Slowly pour in the soda. It is going to fix up so take your time.

See how easy this is. You will be making all different flavors for every party you have. All if the above recipe will serve 8-10 people, the lemon-lime will make 2 additional serving, enjoy!
