Gulash
Ingredients:
– 3-4 spoons of oil
– 1 finely diced red onion
– 1 big clove of minced garlic
– 1.5 lb beef
– 4 full tablespoons of flour
– 1 full teaspoon of red paprika
– 2-3 teaspoons of “vegeta” ( if you don’t have vegeta you can use 1 knorr beef cube)
– Black pepper
– Big pinch of kosher salt
– Big pinch of kosher salt
– 1 teaspoon of minced fresh parsley (fresh is better but you can also use dried parsley flakes)
– 1-2 bay leaf
Directions:
Step one:
In a big pot heat the oil and put the onion. Reduce the temperature to medium and cook it for 5 min until it gets soft. Then you put minced garlic. Cook it for another 2 min.
Step two:
Increase the temperature a little bit, and cook it for another 10 min, stirring constantly, until the meat change the color. (if you like you could also add mushrooms)

Reduce the temperature to medium and add flour and paprika and stir it quickly for a minute or 2.
Step five:
Add 6 cups (1 1/2 l) of water, bay leaf, vegeta, pepper and parsley and boil it for 30-45 minutes. The longer you cook the better. Try it and see if you need to add more salt or pepper.
Mash potatoes
Ingredients:
– 4-6 big potatoes
– Butter
-Whole milk
– Salt
Directions:
In the meantime cut potatoes and put them into a big pot. Cover it with water. Boil it for 30 minutes,or when it becomes very soft.
