Garlic Pesto Sauce
INGREDIENTS:
3/4 c Chicken broth (low fat)
1/2 c Basil leaves (fresh - loosely packed)
3 Garlic cloves peeled
4 tb parmesan cheese, grated
1 tb olive oil
salt & pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS:
1. Heat broth to boiling. Combine ingredients in blender or
food processor; process until basil and garlic are minced.
(Or by hand, use a mortar and pestle: Mash basil and garlic
together, then mix with remaining ingredients.)
